this weekend I followed the Clear lake Stren event on my computer while it was 20 out with a wind storm here in NY. The articles kept mentioning Roboworms but nothing much else as to how they rigged them. Texas, drop shot etc.. Anybody got info on the exact worms and rigging?? thanks!!

there are quite a few different styles they offer, all of which can be dropshot/texas rigged like you said..
I have absolutly no idea... You should really take it up with a professional.

Hey iceman Think I might be able to help.
I Live in the heart of the City, Chicago Illinois. Also known as the windy city it's not uncommon for it to be 50 degrees one day and 20 the next. I deal with CRAZY Finicky bass and even crazier weather.
And The roboworm Is a GREAT Finesse worm, i discovered it at dickssportinggoods a few years ago Because the brown one with the blue line down the middle appealed to me. Looked just like a real worm.. Vein and all! Once December Hits i always downsize all my rods with 8lb test and less Usually 6lb test to be honest and I make sure all are fluro-carbon. then I Texas rig The Roboworm.. And also Drop shot it. I prefer to drop shot, It's just a phenomenal method! Just make sure you remember KEEP YOUR SINKER IN PLACE ON THE BOTTOM While you just Make only your roboworm move, Don't be surprised if it takes you 10 minutes a retrieve sometimes. Late February last year 23 Degrees And I caught one bass In an hour... And only made 2 CAST Leave your sinker in place wiggle the worm up till u feel your weight but still keeping it in place then drop your worm again, that's usually when you'll get the hit. On the first or second drop.
Hope it helps.
Saying hello From Chicago!! Fello Bassaholic!
