I am retiring in a few months and as a gift I received a Shimono Calcutta Casting Reel 200GTB. I have been a spinning rod guy and always on the low cost end of things. I want to set this new reel up right and get a good rod to go with the reel.

I will be using the set up to fish bass in Canada. I will be using worms and light tackle. Probably I would use a ten pound test line.

What is your suggestion on length, type, and sensitivity for the rod I buy. I now have a good reel and a want a good rod.

Tackle Warehouse has my favorite rod (http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpageRDCKISTLER-KHCR.html#) and it is a joy to use. I'd get either the 7' Medium or Medium Heavy LTA Helium for your needs. They weigh less than 4 ounces and are super-sensitive and yet still have the power to land big Bass. I have 7 of their models. I bought my first one sight-unseen after reading this review.
