Started at the Dodge County PFA lake at 9:30 AM. Sunny, hot--mid 80's, water temps--77-81 degrees, and windy as usual.
Threw 3 different swimbaits: T-rigged Paca Craw and Sweet Beaver, senko, and two different Chatterbaits all to no avail until 2 PM. Then I felt a 'funny' tick, set the hook, and played a 4 lb, 14 oz, 21.5 incher to the boat. She was strong! Don't know if I can land a 10 lber there if I ever hook one up because this Bass at less than 1/2 that weight took me for a ride.
