I can't decide on which one to buy. I have the older Chronarch 100SF and I love the reel. I have never owned a Revo, but I hear the 2010 premier is a great reel. The premier is cheaper and has a rebate, but I can't decide. I will be using it for senkos and light texas.
Thank You

The Chronarch is a great reel. The price tag is a little higher but it is a much better built reel. The Revos are not bad but will fall apart over time and then once they do good luck finding parts to fix them. I have many buddies who were on their pro staff and got a bunch of free Revos and every one of them have switched back to Shimano reels even though they have to pay for them. The Shimano Chronarch is made in Japan and the Revo is made in Korea I believe. If you ever have any problems with your Shimano reels you can send them directly to Shimano in Irvine California where they have a well trained staff that services and repairs Shimano reels if a problem should ever happen.
Shimano has been making high end bait casters for a long time. They know how to build them and they are the mark that all other companies try to get to.

If you haven't made a purcahse yet, I would highly recommend either testing a friend's or demoing them both on TW. If you are going to spend almost $300 bucks you want to make a decision based off your own preference.
