Quantum versus Shimano Spinning Reels

Can you tell me which is a better reel; the Shimano Stradic® Spinning Reel 2500 mgFA or the Quantum Energy PTi Spinning Reel?

In my opinion, they are both great reels. I would prefer the Shimano, only because I've always used them.

IMO bolth reels are great and bolth companys are great also as far as witch one to get that depends on you id grab the energy its slightly cheaper but just as good also theres a cataylast that is olny 60 bones and at that price you could get 2 reels for the price of one stradic i do use stradics but i wish i would have went with the cataylast my buddy uses one and they are great we fish every weekend and a couple times during the week he has had no problems with his quantum
