Just finished up the first few weeks of fishing and our first tournament and got some product results...
A new hook out there, Owner TwistLock Open Gap Centering Pin Hook, was put through the paces with Ribbits and Cane Toads and worked great! held the bait on great and was able to get more life out of eack bait... I also used it with senkos and big Kut tails earlier in the week and it worked well... I'm gonna give it a good work out this weekend with flippin in heavy reeds I think with the center pin spring I won't have to fix the bait as much. I usually use a BMF hook for this but I had a huge problem fixing my bait in the heavy cover yesterday... That BMF hook is still pretty awesome though...
That little center pin on the spring makes the hook 1000% easier to use than say a Zoom frog hook...
This hook kinda sneaked onto the scene without much hype but I'd suggest giving them a try...
Wish they had a lighter wire model That would be great for Super flukes and senkos...

I used the center pin hook this weekend For flippin and it worked awesome! Was a huge difference in the amount of time I had to readjust the bait. Also held on smaller craws(fat baby) and norie bugs with out tearing! I also see tacklewarehouse has it in 6/0... If your froggin for big bass using braid, get it...
That S series Daiwa rod is real nice. a little softer action that goes well with braid. It's a blast to use.
