Hey, I live near Houston, Texas and I am having trouble catching bass in current. I fish is in a creek that has been pounded with rain the last two weeks and still is. The water is high and the current is extreamly strong, there are lots of trees near and in the water. Any tips?

The best advice I have for you is look for something to break up the current. The fish in this creek have probably moved into areas with slack water to get out of the strong currents created by the recent rains. Look for trees on the bank ,logs ,tires any kind of debris that have washed up along the bank or have lodged between rocks. the water moving through these breaks will slow on the backsides and this should be where the fish are.
Also search out the area and look for any areas where high water may have created flood pools off of the main creek. I hope this information may help you .
