Hey, i need a new swimbait rod i'm thinking about getting the shimano crucial 7'11" Heavy any one know anything about it or one better. It would be well aprishiated.

The Shimano crucial rods are an excellent choice. They are very lightweight and sensitive. Also the Powell swim bait rods are a great choice for the same reason. Just remember you are already throwing a brick out there so you can get tired out pretty quick. Try to keep the rod and reel on the lighter side. These rods are light weight but have all the power you need to handle a big fish and throw a big bait.
