I live in a small town. A town where everyone knows everyone. One attraction to this tiny town was this farm. It was a massive place with every crop you could think of. It was a touristy place, where you could buy vegetables, or go for rides on the little train that toured the place. There was one little pond in the heart of this place that I had my eyes on for years.

Last year this farm closed. Nobody knows why. It is completely empty, a ghost town if you know what I mean.

I decided to go check out this pond that had been bugging me for so long. I thought, "Now is my chance." So one day I grabbed my gear and headed for this secret spot. I fealt like a criminal because i had to hop two fences to get to the water. The conditions were perfect. I had a feeling. I threw out my Rapala Husky Jerk. I tugged on it to get it moving, and BAM . It Hit!!. Boy, it was the biggest fish I had ever seen or fealt. I wasn't nearly prepared for this baby. I was using 6 lb. test. I just prayed that he would stay on. The battle lasted for at least 5 minutes. At last, I landed this beast. I was in shock. I grabbed my little digital scale..........13 lbs. 4 ounces. At first I didnt know what to think. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST FISH I HAD EVER SEEN!! I had no camera, i didnt even know if there were fish in this spot. Turns out..... there are tons.

I have been back to this spot many times, and recently i tried to catch a catfish. I threw out some chicken liver and landed me a 5 lb. 6 ouncer.

I am so happy to have found this spot that only i know about.

It may sound fishy but it's killing me. Man I wish I could get a spot like that. I have one, but daydreams don't count at the weigh-in...
