Tournament Bass Fishing Circuits?

I am looking to start doing some tournament fishing, can any one suggest any circuits, leagues, etc.. I heard good things about the BFLs and BASS Weekend Series, are there any other circuits that I should consider? I appreciate any information or experiences that you guys may have.

I do alot of bass fishing tournament,WON Bass,Anglers Choice,Top Stick and my club Castaic Bass Club.Its ruff and can be pricey.

I would probably start out fishing local tournaments in your area (bass clubs, Opens ect.) Bassmaster Opens are 300 for a non-boater, and it gets your hands wet in the tournament scene.
