I'm so tired from 4 hours of 98 degree heat with a heat index of 109 and almost no breeze that I almost didn't post this but Rick's(FishNFool's soft jerkbaits) Jerkin' Fool was the only thing I could get a bite on so I thought I'd show the two Bass and the bait.
I went to the swamp pond for the first time in about 2 weeks and it's lookin' a little weary---like your's truly ;) . The water has a scum of dirt over a lot of it and the water had a brown-colored cast to it. I don't think it's being refreshed with new, clean water :confused:
Anyway, I pitched a jig and a T-rigged Paca Craw, threw a Baby Bass and Matt's Bluegill, a spinnerbait, and a Senko with no bites. I got the 2.5 lber right after I started fishing and the little 15 incher just before I quit at 2:30 PM.
