Started out at about 11 AM at the Dodge County Public Fishing Area--partly cloudy, sunny, windy(on and off), and in the mid-90s.
Threw a spinnerbait, a cr/bait, a big topwater plug, Matt's BB, and stitched an 11" worm, all to no avail. Went two hours with no bites--no Bass.
Then I'm in 6' of water in an area I'd never fished in before, throwing the BB(dipped completely in CB's Clear Hawg Sauce) into 9-10' of water with no cover nearby, just open water. Finally, I feel a thump as I'm retrieng the BB and I set the hook into a tagged(by the DNR) 6lb, 4oz, 24" Bass. She had the entire BB in her mouth with room to spare and was hooked in the roof of her mouth.
Took some pics and headed home:
Matt's Baby Bass+CB's Sauce (http://www.f150online.com/galleries/pictureview.cfm?pnum=135813&anum=3208)
Same (http://www.f150online.com/galleries/pictureview.cfm?pnum=135812&anum=3208)
Again--yes, I changed hats (http://www.f150online.com/galleries/pictureview.cfm?pnum=135808&anum=3208)
