Bright and sunny day in the 80s at the swamp pond.
Started out with a new spinner/jig bait. Caught a 2, 7 oz, 19 incher. Threw a new topwater bait, a new cr/baitt, a new frog, and pitched a jig.
Had a nice one on the frog but I set the hook too soon and she spit it out. Same thing happened to two more Bass when they hit my new Vixen topwater bait. My only excuse is it's been a long time since I had a topwater strike.
Caught a 1 lb, 15oz, 17 incher on my new Bettencourt floating cr/bait. See them in the pics:
