No clouds, bright sunshine, low 80s, muddydamn water, and windy at the swamp pond today. I got there about 10 AM just as four deer hunters were getting ready to go home. They got two doe's.
Right off the bat, I caught a 13" Crappie on a Fish-n-Fools bait and it was rigged with a 4/0 Sugoi EWG hook. Then the first Bass hit the same bait too. Threw several different baits but no hits for about 3 hours. Just before I decided to leave, I caught a 1lb, 12oz, 16 incher on a PJ jig and Joe's 3" chunk trailer.
