I have been resisting spending a lot of money for rubber frogs for a while now but I think I am about ready to break down and buy some. Normally I use small frogs in either light green, dark green or white. What colors do you guys recommend for the bigger frogs? And, what frogs do you all recommend? I like the look of the snag proof phat frog myself.

I personally like the Spro Bronzeye Frog 65, this is a great bait! By twitching the rod tip during the retrieve, the Bronzeye Frog will cast a small wake in front. I like to stick to natural looking colors such as natural green or green pumpkin. I will switch to a black to provide a nice silhouette on a cloudy day. White also works well for me, especially when there is a shad bite.

AGREED! Great Bait. vtbasser...you definately have to use these in the summer. I'm a North Eastern guy too and these baits catch big fish in shallow cover, period. a couple dark colors (natural red - putty black) have worked well for me...with the algea bloom staining the water during the summer, i agree, provides a better silhouette for the bass to zone in on it.
