just found a new frog at the 3:16 site. looks pretty cool. very heavy so it should really push some water. anybody get one in the water yet?? Also got bassmasters new lure issue. looks like some more frogs in the works too.

I seen that 3:16 frog on ESPN's Bass Center. I think it's cool. I Have designed many frog lures in the past. I have just finished the design of my newest frog bait with real leg action in mind. Anyone who wants to see this lure email me at tacklesupply@yahoo.com. It may be good enough for Tackle Warehouse to carry.

Got up to some slop 4 weeks ago and tried out the new 3:16 frog. Here are the results... first off lure looks and acts amazing. really moves some water! I caught several largemouth, and pickerel on it. It does have 2 negatives and I'll bring them up.
first, it tends to run up side down alot. you had to really watch it to make sure it was right side up. 2nd problem, the nose tore apart very easy rendering the frog useless. I got a big bag of frogs that need super glue repair. Now these problems are ocurring with all the big frogs I'm using and not just the 3:16. with those 2 problems aside, they caught bass in 57 degree water!! that is end of april here in NY.
MY advise, buy some, lots of them, my tournaments start in 3 weeks, I got super glue and new boat coming, with frogs I'll be ready to go.
