12/04/05--Finally got to go Bassin'--6 Bass

It's been too cold and windy for me lately. Today it had a 60% chance of rain but it was going up to 70 degrees so I took a chancw and it was perfect; no rain, warm, sunny, partly cloudy, windy, and clear water in my boss's pond.

First catch was a 2.2 lber on Joe's Squiggly Stix and CB's HS, wacky-rigged. Second was a 1.7 lber, same bait. Caught three dinks, and then I pitched a jig with Joe's trailer and CB's HS on it and picked up a 3 lb even Bass. Missed a couple of bits on the SS and on a GY Grub but overall, it was a great day-------shorts and NO shirt or shoes for this Southern Bassman.
